Hal Mullins started in Real Estate in 1981 while still a student in college. He worked as Sales Manager for John Hyneman Realty Company in Southaven from 1981 – 1986 specializing in new construction sales.In 1982, at the age of 21, Mr. Mullins earned his Real Estate Brokers license and, in 1986, created Mullins & Associates, Inc., a very successful Real Estate Brokerage firm.

From 1986 to the present, Mr. Mullins has been the President or owner of several projects and has been the driving force in over 1,500 new home sales throughout DeSoto County Mississippi. His main goal has always been to provide custom quality homes at an affordable price. During this time Mr. Mullins was an active member in many of the professional organizations associated with the building trade and made his experience and knowledge available to the industry. He also served as the President of the North Mississippi Association of Homebuilders, the second largest Homebuilders Association in the state of Mississippi. He also belonged to many civic organizations and worked hard to help DeSoto County grow and prosper.

In 1996 Mr. Mullins expanded his holdings to include several properties in the Destin, Florida region and, in 2001, moved his primary residence to the Destin area and continues to be an active, contributing resident of the Emerald Coast.
